This immaculate and spacious Lodge sleeps 6 adults and 2 children and is the perfect getaway for peaceful relaxation or outdoor adventure. It’s surrounded by beautifully designed gardens, spectacular countryside and found on a private estate.
It’s ideal for get togethers with family and friends with sumptuous interiors, comfy beds, a cosy log fire & large terrace for alfresco dining from sunrise to sunset.

INSIDE
Gattimer Lodge is spacious and elegantly decorated in a contemporary style with Farrow and Ball tones, unique bold accents, luxurious comforts and seamless inside-outside living all within a homely destination.
Downstairs, the open plan living and dining area with two sets of double glass doors leads out onto the terrace and ensures natural light and gorgeous views are a star attraction. It is the perfect place to come together as a group or for everyone to find their own space to enjoy.
The dining area is perfect for dinner parties, grazing lunches and celebrations. Fully equipped we look to ensure you have a home from home stay.
Our kitchen is the perfect place to whip up a meal and from children’s cutlery right down to the cafetière and dishwasher tablets have everything you might need during your stay – even a slow cooker.
Gattimer has three king bedrooms, two of the rooms are on the ground floor which make it the perfect place for multigeneration holidays.
At either end of the Lodge is a king size bedroom with adjoining large shower room. Rainfall showers ensure a luxurious start to the day.
Red kite has its own double doors opening on to the lavender terrace and separate room suitable for a cot (available on request).
Partridge is a dreamy dual aspect room with comfy armchair and adjoins the main entrance hallway with decedent oak flooring.
Up the handmade oak staircase you reach the twin room ‘Nest’ and beyond it is a small dressing area, suitable for a travel cot (available on request). Next to a shower room and further king room ‘Skylark’ with a gorgeous large Velux window which helps make the most of the dual aspect views – ideal for lazy morning daydreams. This is also suitable for travel cot.

Gattimer is surrounded by beautifully designed gardens and glorious countryside which stretches in every direction for quite literally miles! There is plenty to explore within the extensive ground from formal lawns lined with lavendar to tree lined walkways and shimmering ponds.
And when the inside beckons, the cosy sitting room with sumptuous soft interiors and two large sofas is the perfect spot to enjoy the roaring log fire.

Practicalities:
Gattimer Lodge has ample gravelled parking and is accessed from the road via a private driveway.
The kitchen is in a contemporary but fitting country style with a range cooker with double oven, grill and a five-ring hob. It’s also equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer.
There are two lower ground king size bedrooms with adjoining shower rooms.
Gattimer comes set up with all your bed linen, towels and dressing gowns.
The village pub is walkable. It is just a short drive to Hay-on-Wye, the city of books and home to the famous literary festival, and a little further to Hereford, Abergavenny or the fabulous Ludlow. There is so much to explore be it on foot, two wheels or four!
